Today’s outfit was based around the dainty lace/satin slip. I was initially going to wear a blazer with it, but decided against it, seeing as the combo looked way too uptight (maybe I’ll wear it some other time, when I have a snooty affair to go to). So instead, I chose this men’s plaid shirt, courtesy of mon père. Looked a little punk after I added the belt on top, so I decide to sport some heavy eyeliner and nude lips, not unlike Fall 08’s make up line-up. And there you go.

Yes. FANNY PACK. I found this sucker at the thrift store, just begging to be taken home. Yeah, I know those nylon neo bright ones can be very tacky, but what’s not to love about an aging, vintage leather coin-belt? Oh and the dress is actually a lot longer than this. Think 3rd grade teacher. I shortened it by tucking it over another belt (hidden).

My hair is seriously getting out of control! It’s such a pain when it gets too long, it just gets all over the place, and I start looking like I haven’t taken a shower in weeks! I’m so glad I’m getting it cut on Monday. But for now, hopefully this quasi-up do will suffice!

Also, if you’re wondering why my top looks weird, it’s because it’s a bit big so I just clipped it with a bow barrette.

Mondays are so suckish, even if its summer break! Anyway, this red skirt used to be a part of a badly made dress. So I chopped off the skirt part, belted it at the waist and tucked the extra material under the belt. Looks pretty good, think I’ll keep it that way…had no intentions to fix it anyway!

I’ve always been a knee sock nerd and these particular ones make me feel like Paul Bleeker, except, a girl. And perhaps a wee bit more stylish?

Now all I need are a couple of arm bands!

**Yes I am fully aware that by wearing almost head to toe JF I could audition as a spokes person for the damn clothing line, but in my defence, these shorts are vintage Levi’s cut offs!
