okay, so you guys know how i was totally freaking out the other day when i was in the style gallery next to rebecca?

well guess what.

she commented on MY photo, (i can’t even believe i’m typing this!) the one below called “atlanta shopping guide” vvvvv
and omg.
i wanted to freak out SO BAD, but i couldn’t because i didn’t want to sound insane from screaming at like 11:00 at night lol

i hope she’s not afraid of me or anything.
but i have looked up to her for like soooo long. i just absolutely adore her so so so so sooo much.

So, I’m going to try this Chic in the City thing ;).

Georgia is a small southern state made up of tiny towns. I live in one called Thomaston, Georgia. Thomaston consists of vintage run down buildings, ghetto(s), and poverty. Nothing exciting happens here. There are no boutiques or anything that has to do with fashion. So, our town sounds pretty horrible, right? Indeed, it is. But one HUGE make up for this worthless town is a place called ‘Metro Atlanta.’ Oh sweet, sweet ATL. Metro Atlanta consists of hundreds of boutiques, thrift stores, pawn shops, and much MUCH more. I love it.

Here is a list of my all time favorite shops.

America’s Thrift Store- The most amazing place ever created on the face of the earth. You will find anything you are looking for in here.. especially vintage stuff! I always end up WAYYYYY over spending, but i end up with about 100 items. How could you beat that?? There is not a single time when I come home from there unhappy.

Ross- I absolutely adore this store. It has name brand clothing for CHEAP prices. It has more of the up-to-date fashion like Forever21, not anything vintage. I love this store when I am in the ‘city’ mood. :)

Old Navy- Who doesn’t love Old Navy’s clearance racks??

Salvation Army- Although it is very hard to find anything in there that is my size, i still LOVE the vintage bags, hats, and hair pieces they have. I always end up buying a purse when i’m in there!

Q: “So how do I stay Chic In The City?”
A: I stay chic in the city because Chictopia gives me a drive. Each day I want to learn more and more about upcoming fashion. It is my addiction. This is the best website I have ever joined in my life. It has turned me into a totally differnet person (fashion wise). So thank you Chictopia, for keeping me Chic in my city. :)

after the first like three seconds of uploading this outfit, i made it to the style gallery. unbelievable! i got 8 chic votes in 3 seconds!!! earlier i was next to REBECCA (the clothes horse), my all time fashion guru!!! do you know how bad i freaked out? i LOVE rebecca, and i made it to the gallery right when she did today, so i was kind of like a kid in a candy shop hahaha.

anyways besides my total freak out :)
I love the spring-y weather Georgia is having! it is windy and like 67 degrees. :) amazing! i also love my new thrifted nude heels.

that green stuff you see to the right of the pic? we keep two house cats in there. they’re de-clawed, and were meant to live inside, but both of them ending up having bladder problems and pee like wherever they’re at. so we made them live outside… but they don’t have any claws to protect themselves!! so we have to keep them in a jungle cage and all of our neighbors think we’re crazy. hahahaha.

so i just thought i’d share some of my crazy life with you.
