i’m going to palm springs for the 4th. we’re staying at a cool retro hotel with record players in the rooms and real vintage furniture. i am a nerd for mid-century anything!

i am completely obsessed with florals. i can’t get my hands on any good vintage ones though! sigh! however,i was a tween in the early 90s when it was all the rage, and i bet i could still fit into some of those great floral a-line dresses i used to wear to Sunday school. oh to have unlimited closet space and never have to throw anything away….

Lately, i have been incredibly inspired by Scandinavian design. (Cheap Monday, Acne, Minimarket, Rodebjer etc.). I’ve always been a fan of both simple yet functional, so I really think I am sinking deeper into my niche.

This van matches my shoes!
Dubbed “Rape Van” by the residents of my street, it usually moves once a week, on street cleaning day when it lets out a rumble that shakes the whole neighborhood. It is usually parked on the other side of the street, but since it was Thursday i got lucky and it was parked right outside my house. lol.

scored this tunic yesterday at my favorite Salvation Army in the valley. for summer i’ve been looking for a cute grungy early 90s floral mini dress but no luck yet. i think i will check out some of the thrift stores in santa monica today and see if i’ll find anything.
