I’ve had this skirt for over a year and tonight is the first night I wore it out. I totally didn’t know what to wear with it, until I remembered that I had bought a basic navy t-shirt on sale and that it could look good with it. I realized this like two minutes after putting the skirt up for sale on eBay hahaha! I’m happy I didn’t go through with the auction (and that it was a free listing).

I would’ve liked the tights to be thicker and more opaque. This is 50 denier, I thought it would be darker! I guess I’ll go for something like 100 denier for winter, it is pretty cold already. In fact, while I wanted to wear my regular black heels and not these boots that I literally wear all the time, it was too chilly for that. Don’t worry, I’ve worn a coat and a scarf! :)

I’m on a roll! Nah, I just felt like I haven’t posted in my Chictopia blog for a really long time so I’m trying to make up for it.

I’m wearing a variation of this outfit pretty much all the time. I need to go shopping so badly, but I can’t afford it right now, so I have to make do with what I have.

I did however spend on some accessories, notably the silver and black ring I’m wearing in this outfit. It’s from H&M and I love it! I’m trying to get a proper collection of rings so I can stack them.

So, as much as I LOVE summer and everything that comes with it, somehow I can’t function in the heat. I spent the whole summer wearing denim shorts and v-neck tops and tanks. Hardly fashionable, but I just couldn’t take it. Yet, it wasn’t even THAT hot, so I don’t get it. I think I’m getting old, maybe approaching menopause already?! Don’t women always feel hot in their menopause? AHHH…!

That said, fall and winter are coming, so guess what? Layering time, that’s what! Now I can dress up in lovely knit sweaters and boots. :D

Well hello there Chictopians, how long has it been?!

Truthfully, over here in Quebec, the weather has been awful. Even though we’re already past mid-July, all we’ve got has been mostly rain and clouds. Only the last few days have we seen some sun. Yesterday was a wonderful, wonderful sunny and hot day. I took advantage of it to go tan a little bit, but learned that a face tan is not good for those who have acne marks. :( I tried to gain a little bit of colour on my legs, however!

Today was nice as well, and I went to grab a quick breakfast with my boyfriend before he had to go to work. And yes, I’ve worn the same outfit both days, except yesterday I wore heels (bad idea) and no hat.

Speaking of hat, I love straw fedoras on other people, but I have a love-hate relationship with them when they sit on my head. My boyfriend loathes my hat. What do you think?

Other than that, this outfit is pretty generic and unexciting, but I thought I’d post it anyway since my Chicblog hadn’t been updated since the revamping on the website. Eek!

I’m a bit late on the cascading-chains necklace trend, yes? But I couldn’t resist when I saw this gold, silver and black piece today at H&M, and put it on immediately after paying for it. It really spices up and outift!

Although I want to wear lighter colours, mostly creams and whites, this spring/summer, I found myself wearing all-black today, even on a perfectly sunny day. My closet is just so uninspiring. :(

Aw man I haven’t posted any outfit photo lately. But all I’ve been doing is working (in my uniform) so I haven’t been feeling inspired. I hope this is worthy enough, and if not, I’ll try to post more!
