Black in Hong Kong Add as Favorite Photo

First and foremost, I’d like to give a big HELLO and HUG to my chictopia friends whom I’ve lost contact with over the past 3 months or so (You know who you guys are). I’ve been so busy with my life (graduating, new business going on, taking care of a growing toddler, sideline work etc etc.) really busy like i seriously had no time to pose for pics, all the more uploading them and typing up a post.
A week or 2 ago, I went to Hong Kong for HK Fashion Week. I had a fun 5 day vacation, and the best part was that my hubby and baby girl followed… So we got to go to disneyland, shopping, night outs, food and lotsa fun stuff. Even got to see a college friend who now lives there. It was a really great trip! And of course I was able to take a couple of chictopia pics there… so here I am posting!
Its a simple all black outfit that I wore to Lan Kwai Fong. I guess the all black matched the cold weather… However, my hubby who is not really that much into fashion, kept calling me a witch that night.
Oh!!! How I’ve missed chictopia!

Went to school and a kiddie party earlier that Saturday afternoon. At around 7pm, my hubby wanted to go straight to this chill place for some drinks. And he DID NOT want me to go home to change anymore. He wanted me to wear the really boring outfit I’ve already worn and sweated in all day. He hates having detours of me changing cos he thinks I’m gonna take long minutes or hours just figuring out what i’m gonna wear (I never go shopping with him cos he only lets me stay in the fitting room for 1 minute, wihch is impossible). I finally got to force him cos I swore i’d only take 5 minutes. And thankfully I did… This outfit was so unthought of. I just grabbed this that this that and im glad i turned out great. Perfect for going out with some friends and drinks :)

Hey chictopians! How are you all doing? Had an eventful Thursday evening:
1. Had dinner at this botique hotel called Hotel Celeste
2. Loaded up at Good Earth Rockwell
3. White Wine at Establishment
4. Bottle of Johnny at Attica
My bestfriends boyfie from Seattle is visiting for a few months, so we took him out last night. It was pretty fun having the gang together. These people have been my friends for more than 6 years now… and its great we’re still so close even after all the years.
The sheer lace dress is one of my thrifted finds.
PS: OMG! I love Michael Jackson! It sucks I only became a fan after he died (after watching This Is It). It truly sucks how I will never ever be able to watch him live. Oh big boo.

The gold studded blue tank top is one of the treasures I found in a recent thrift shopping trip I had. And the shoes, as I said in my previous post, is my new Charles & Keith purchase… Pardon the hair, it was a bit windy. I’ll keep it short today… Bye bye! :)

Oh golly the precious booties i’ve had my eye on for a while is finally MINE!!!!! Hurrah! I love it soooo much! You know when you have a baby, shopping for things you like gets pushed down to the bottom of the priority list. sigh But I’m just so glad i have it now.
Hubby is in Guam for 3 days of work related stuff. I wanted to go with him, but i couldn’t miss school and had work that night. So on this fun filled saturday evening, I went to my hosting gig, went to a house party, then went out to partay with my brother and hubby’s friends.
I love this outfit!! The leopard dress (thrifted mind you) is actually a top, i added the tied up tank top. Hope you guys like it :)

So every now and then, my hubby’s friends (who are also my friends, obviously) and i have wine night get togethers – where we have bottles and bottles of wine with cheese, cold cuts, fondues, steak, the works! We normally designate each other to bring certain stuff. like this evening hubby and i contributed 2 bottles of champagne, plus caviar. The host of the house took care of more wine, the fondue, raclette, and coldcuts, our other ffriend brought more wine and more cheese, lamb with mint jelly, etc etc. omg…. we ate so much! I LOVE EATING i swear! yumm…. these wine nights are seriously one of my guilty pleasures! oh the gluttony!
About my outfit – i know! Its a bit too funky for a wine-night-themed thing. i shoulda been wearing something a bit more dessy! but oh well, i felt like wearing this! This is one of hubby’s shirts which i wore as a dress. I really love using my hubby’s shirts! It brings out my creative juices!! Hahaha!! :)
PS: Sorry my shoes cant be seen in the main picture! My friend, who was kinda drunk already, took it.
