I’m doing a personal style project where I take one piece of clothing and reinvent it in ten different ways. This time around I’m taking this cream colored african print skirt and wearing it as an accessory to a plain dress. This is look #1 out of ten.

This was an old look from August that I never posted. This was my train/day attire when I went to visit my friend in Chicago. Quite comfortable yet a relaxed style. This is me dressing down.

This outfit makes me feel like a super rich diva. I’ll enjoy it while it lasts because in reality it couldn’t be any further than the truth. Hey I shop at Goodwill!
To be honest this black “skirt” is actually a dress I just wore low with the top.

I wore this to the museum with a friend to waste some time. I found this jumper the other day while cleaning out some boxes in my room. My mom went crazy when she saw me wearing it. It was hers back in the 70s and she loved that it fit me exactly. I wish she would have kept her whole wardrobe from back in the day for me to wear. I feel like I would have loved it.

The day I wore this outfit I received several comments saying I resembled a Jedi from Star Wars. I can’t say I totally hated it. I bought this coat with both skepticism and hope. I knew someday I’d be able to rock it but I wasn’t sure how exactly; then this happened.
