Granny-pleaser: Anna Sui dress Add as Favorite Photo

This dress is an A+ granny-pleaser (and that’s saying something when you have a granny like mine). I took off the ‘velvet’ teal bow because it looks a bit cheap in person and the collar is quite suffocating when done all the way up on a warm day. I might make it into a brooch though so I can wear it when I feel like it. The dress itself is really lovely (love the classic shirt-dress cut) and the quality is better than what I was expecting. Definitely a keeper!

Double bow! Add as Favorite Photo

I ended up trading in my Sretsis Double Bow dress for the Double Bow blouse instead. It’s a very cute top but gets a lot of stares. If I had any bust to speak of, I wouldn’t wear this blouse because it would look far too raunchy!

DIY hammered knuckle ring outfit Add as Favorite Photo

I do realise this outfit is similar to my last one but it’s what I wore so! The hammered knuckle ring is one of the projects I made in my jewellery class last semester, being too poor to afford one of Fashionology’s amazing rings at the time. I was really happy with how it turned out.

Secret Garden Add as Favorite Photo

This is what I wore yesterday. I love the pretty pink colour of the Rodarte for Target lace cardigan. I may just be a sucker for anything with lace and pockets. The weather was quite nice so I tried taking photos in the tiny patch of garden near the back of my house.

Wardrobe overhaul & sale! Add as Favorite Photo
Jan 12, 2010 12 comments
Around 2-3 times a year I do a wardrobe clean out where I go through my entire wardrobe and either donate or sell the things that are just wasting space. Most of the time it’s because I no longer like the particular piece, but I also clear out the things I feel no longer suit me, and things I haven’t worn in over nine months.
After getting my wardrobe more under control after the first major overhaul, I now go over it at the beginning of every Spring, Autumn and New Year. I have put up the first lot of clothing that hasn’t been donated on my Shop Sushi blog; mostly dresses, skirts and shorts.

Christmas day outfit Add as Favorite Photo

Oops I meant to post this last week but never got around to it. It was surprisingly cool on Christmas day this year so this is what I decided to wear (though I replaced the heels with a more family-friendly pair when visiting relatives). I love the classic style of this coat so much, and it’s the perfect length.
