It does sound like a dumb idea because you don’t really know who they are but I’m a risk-taker and looove to travel so if they didn’t seem too sketchy, I’d say yes! But make sure a family member knows the persons name and where you are going, etc.

Maybe meet up with them in a public place first. Get to know them before you go travelling with them. It’s best to be cautious in these situations.

Nowadays it’s so common to meet people off the net that it’s hard NOT to be friends, but like others say, make sure you do get to know him first, of course go to a public place like a boba shop (haha my favourite) or a Starbucks, or even at a McDonald’s!
You don’t want to put yourself in danger, safety comes first! And you will have lots of time to go travel! : )

I wouldn’t right off the bat. I mean it’s a cruel world out there and you’ll never know if that stranger is a creep or not. You should have a hang out, but not a one on one, bring a friend with you as a precaution. After you are more acquainted then travel together.

That does sound a bit dangerous. If you really wanted to travel together, I say bring a friend. At least you’d be safer that way.

I would say meet him/her first and the most important issue,that he/she has money to afford food,bus tickets etc cause you may end up paying for everything
