Hey everyone! I will be studying abroad in Antigua, Guatemala this summer and I was hoping y’all can leave me with some advice. The rainy season starts when I arrive and I was told that Antigua has a lot of cobblestoned roads. Would a pair of saltwater sandals be sturdy and comfortable enough for the streets? And would slippery streets in the rain be a problem? Also, would it be necessary to buy a pair of rainboots?

In addition, I’d love to hear about more general travel tips!

Thanks :)

I think it would be better if you took all kinds of shoes with you, you know just in case!

Yeah, I will probably bring a few different pairs but I want to pack as lightly as possible!
