You know, I was just thinking about this the other day. I would want my bridesmaids to wear long dresses at my wedding. It’s just something that I don’t see too often these days. Maybe it’s just me..who knows, but personally I would go with the longer dress. I think it would look really nice
Have a great wedding!

The first link doesn’t have an image of a dress. The navy one is very pretty though.

Looking at it from what I would want as a bridesmaid, I think the navy one is the best because it’s the most “rewearable” and also because it isn’t strapless. Strapless dresses can often be a pain in the butt, since you have to find the perfect bra or you’ll end up having to yank it back up all night, which is annoying and kind of tacky— which you don’t want as the bride, either!

The green one is elegant too and I agree with Lambs that it’s refreshing to see a long gown since short is so popular now, but my vote is still on the navy.

I’d say the shorter one, it’s more youthful!

I honestly love both dresses!! I guess it depends on the look you are going for. My favorite would be the navy dress. I prefer a tea length dress opposed to a long dress, but that is my personal opinion. I would go with the green dress if you were having a more casual wedding such as a beach wedding or summer wedding.

I love the color and the cut of the second dress—especially if you’re going to have your wedding during the summer. I’m personally not a huuge fan of that one-shoulder thing, but you should also check out this dress:

It might be too simple, but I think it’ll look good on any body :). definitely looks ‘rewearable’ lol.

if you want something of a similar, less-casual fabric, maybe try for http://www.dessy.com/dresses/bridesmaid/8101/?color=midnight&colorid=47?

I think both dresses would complement the other dresses’ colors. But I like the navy dress’ cut more than the green one.

Please do not bump old/dead threads. The original post in this thread was written over a year ago. Obviously it is no longer relevant – thanks for your enthusiasm to help, but don’t bump dead threads.

Thank you!
