I have a relatively skinny figure, i’m 5’8 and 130 pounds, i have long, skinny legs, and a small waist, but slightly bigger thighs and a BIG butt. i have such a difficulty finding good pants/shorts in general. i want to own some pants/shorts that actually fit properly, so what advice could you give for someone with long, skinny legs, but with slightly big thighs and a big butt when shopping for pants? i wear a size 5, if that matters!
posted almost 4 years agoFirst off, Id kill for your figure! im on the boyish side (not much hips and just average butt) so its not too easy to find jeans that flatter that region.
From what I’ve seen, i think levi’s are pretty tailored for fuller bottomed people with larger hips since every time i try on their jeans, everywhere fits but the hips seem saggy… :(
I think AA jeans look great on people who can really fill them out and Uniqlo jeans are inexpensive, well made and they have great loosely tailored high waisted jeans.
Goodluck!!
posted almost 4 years agoomg I have the same problem (except I’m 5’3"). Gap’s jeans have been soooo flattering on me. I have the styles long & lean and straight leg. and I also avoid alll skinny jeans in general cuz it just makes my butt look bigger. and they usually have very simple pocket designs so it doesn’t attract unnecessary attention!
but other than Gap, I haven’t really been able to find proper fitting jeans.
posted almost 4 years agoi have the exact same problem. i have huge muscle thighs from playing sports, so whenever i find jeans to fit my thighs and butt, they’re really loose around my waist. i always had to wear belts! so frustrating! i bought a pair of seven jeans (not 7 for mankind, seven) and they fit really nicely. they have enough room for my thighs but has a really small waistline, so they keep everything in.
i thought they were really expensive and not worth it when i got them, but in my opinion, they were worth it. favourite pair of jeans i own (:
posted almost 4 years agoI have the EXACT same dilemma! However, I have found a few remedies!
If you’re looking for skinny jeans, check out Ralph Lauren, True Religion, or PacSun’s Bullhead Venice Skinny jeans!
If you’re looking for bellbottom, flare, straight leg or skinny -again- I would advise going with my new discovery, HYDRAULIC JEANS.
I have 2 pairs of HYDRAULIC jeans: 1 acid wash skinny, and 1 double button bellbottom. They both fit phenomenally and do WONDERS for my rear! In addition to that, they’re just super cute and extremely comfy!
Hope I helped! :)
posted almost 4 years agoTry JBrands jeans they are what kim Kardassian wears but they have styles for thinner girls
posted almost 4 years agoI agree that JBrand or True Religion are worth checking out – also looking for stretch in the jean may help – Citizen is also worth trying
posted almost 4 years agowow, i didn’t expect so many responses! thanks guys, i’m gonna have to look into all of your suggestions! :)

i invested in a pair of levi’s, best choice ever! and plus you can get them super cheap and the also go with almost everything. =] hope i helped!

I love jeans but it’s always a challenge to find the perfect pair. If you just love a pair, get one that fits at the widest part of you…skinny, straight, whatever cut….and take it to the tailor.
Personally, I got Forever 21 jeans for $10 and took it to the tailor to make the waistband fit for about $24….but now, it fits me like a glove. I had to take in over 3 inches in the waist!
I’m willing to pay just a bit more for pants that look like they fit…even if tailoring cost more than the price of the pants.
