I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans for next winter.

I need them to be stylish and comfortable.

Also they’ll need to be flattering on my shape (which isn’t stick thin) about a size 28 jean.

Anyone got any reccomendations?

I like high waisted jeans! They make your legs look so long!

^^ au contraire, i have a long back and short legs and all they do is visually emphasise how long your back is.

HOWEVER: already long-legged girls look great in them.

I recommend a rise that’s somewhere between high-waisted and hipster.

If you’re going to be wearing these as a cold-weather pair, try avoiding stretch denim and try some raw denim; it’ll be thicker, wear harder, and be sturdier overall. Slings & Stones and Good Society operate at a high and medium price point, respectively, and offer a number of great cuts for ladies in raw denim.

It doesn’t get too cold where I am, thanks though

i normally dont recommend skinny jeans to people who arent stick thin. But i think straight leg or bootcut would work well for you. Boyfriend jeans are great (like Levis or something of that sort) especially if it goes get too cold where you are.

Hope that helps, good luck :)
