i’m really tempted to pull out my sewing machine for my skirts this winter! i’ve been looking high and low for warm, wool, plaid, boucle’ shin length pencil skirts and have had no luck at all! fun, funky conservative w/an edge. if you can’t find it in stores is guess its time to diy! these are the fabrics i’ve picked out so far. the great thing about skirts is that 2yds of fabric and you’re good to go! let me know what you think of my fabric choices!

i did find a few on adam.com and j.crew.com, but the prices are outrageous! now i’m sure the sewing machine is a much better option! lol~

I don’t know anything about sewing but just looking at the fabric I like the first one the most =) If you can sew, you should totally do it yourself since you can make it fit you perfectly and you can choose the fabric and style!
