They ususally buy brands from urban outfitters, modcloth, anthropologie, especially forever 21, and sometimes vintage so if you have anything similar in the back of your closet that you just don’t like or are tired of you should definitely bring it in :) I also notice that if you iron the pieces before they usually give you a bit more money for your items <3posted over 1 year ago

You can always ask what they’re looking for.
They go by seasons! I love Buffalo Exchange, they are constantly looking for so many different things!
They look for the normal teenage brands. Forever, Supreme, Supra, bape. .etc.
They like the Vintage stuff the most, not the crusty stuff.
Never go to them with stain, torn clothing!
Sometimes I have a lot of luck there and sometimes I don’t sell anything! It depends on a lot of things tho. The most obvious is the season. Like right now, they’re not buying sweaters or coats because they won’t sell. In October they won’t be buying shorts, etc. Next, even if you have something that’s super trendy or in great condition, if they already have too many of them in the store, they won’t buy yours. Another factor might just be the person who is doing the buying. Sometimes their own personal taste tells them something won’t sell.
One of my tricks is to save the stuff that doesn’t sell and try again in a couple months. If it doesn’t sell by the second or third attempt, I just donate it.posted over 1 year ago
