I would say that boots will be more useful… you can dress them up and dress them down, but they’re always comfortable to walk in, and thus (I would guess) would be shoes that you would wear often. I am projecting that gladiator sandals are just a fad, so I wouldn’t bother investing in them unless you really are crazy about the way they look. High heeled statement shoes are fun but I will bet that they will be the most fun to buy, then not as much fun to own when you can’t seem to find a way to fit them into your daily wardrobe. But I think that the answers to this question are highly personal, and I’m sure everyone will have different answers :/posted over 5 years ago
I am back from my shopping spree…. could not find boots that I liked so I got a pair of gladiator sandals instead, they were pretty cheap only 25 bucks, so that is good, I also got an oversized knit dress(kind of short), a lace black dress and a belt, the belt is quite nice it has a zipper on the front, for some reason it makes me remember those caged skits:p…. thank you for your help anyways guys!!!XDposted over 5 years ago
why gladiator sandals? honestly they existed years ago…but why now? please don’t tell me you saw them in every single fashion magazine and now is wanting to jump onto that bandwagon…posted over 5 years ago
well I was in need of boots and sandals, so given the lack of styles of boots in store at the moment I got the sandals, I will be getting boots but only when I find the right pair. I chose the sandals for two reasons, I have a hard time choosing a cute pair of sandals and because they will be comfortable enough to wear to school…. you can see a picture of them in my profile, if youd like to take a look…posted over 5 years ago
I would say for all you living in the Northern Hemisphere, boots are probably your best option at the moment, with winter on its way.
Although I am a huge fan of still wearing gladiator heels in the winter worn with tights when wearing dresses, or if its not too cold, on their own with pants. mm yep.
