Best thrifting finds

I got a $10AUD Charlie Brown dress – Green with Cream Polkadots at a local Op Shop.
Also a $6 Iceblue prom-style dress I picked up for my sister for a wedding we were attending – she looked like gorgeous – from an opshop three doors down from the other one…

I have had some amazing luck with my finds.

I really like this brown sweater I got once. It’s just brown and comfy and it has a removable fur collar which I love. It makes me feel more glamorous :)

ive found some really good stuff but nothing that i LOVED, maybe because my mom thinks its gross to wear used clothing and shes the one driving =////

current favorites: 1960s red wool poncho from West Germany, floor length emerald green satin gown with white fur trim at the boat neck and cuffs! (the first is for sale, the latter is MINE ALL MINE!)

ferragamo maryjanes from the 60s, tons of gunne sax. navy blue suede and patten leather lace up go-go boots, kenny rogers brand western wear for men from the 70s. My entire wardrobe… :-) recently a Polaroid 360 land camera,which works perfectly, for 4 bucks. Also my old couch which was a perfect, leopard print, velvet camel back for 40 dollars. I sold it for 150 when I moved.

My motorcycle style leather jacket for $15. I had been searching for one for about 6 months. I got a yellow plaid topshop jacket for $8. A Gap tuxedo style blazer for $8. Multicolored wingtip shoes for $3-5.

What do you consider the difference between thirft and charity? When I say thrifted I mean a charity shop like goodwill or St Vincent Depaul. I don’t consider shopping at vintage, used or consignment shops thrifting AT ALL. If you bought it at buffalo exchange you DID NOT thrift it. Thrift Shops are shops that get their stock through donations and give all the proceeds to charity. Shops that have buyers for their merch and sell stuff for personal profit are not thrift stores.

thats cool you guys go ahead and shop the used stores. Don’t go to charity thrift shops they suck anyway

this yellow pencil skirt…for $8

i find the best luck when thrifting with shoes, lucky me. i’ve found multiple pairs of boots in blacks and browns of vintage styles (some combat lace ups, some heeled, some cowboy boots) all for $4 at my local goodwill. the latest awesome pair was a pair of vintage guess black cowboy boots from the 70s in almost perfect condition!
i also love the kids section because i’m pretty small. i search for band shirts and fitted sweatshirts in that section. yesterday i got an 80’s miami dolphins kids sweatshirt for $3!
