I think it would be alright. If you like something, wear it and don’t wonder if it’s still in. As long as your happy in it that’s all that matters.

As far as fashion goes, I think bodycon skirts are still in style— and always hot. Plus, like kat18 said, if you rock it, who cares if it’s out of date? Make it your style and don’t worry about the neverending cycle of trends.

As far as the first day of high school goes, just make sure it’s not too short or so tight you can see VPL or risk bursting a seam when you sit down. Wear tights or leggings underneath if you think you might be pushing it.

I think if you feel comfortable in it then wear it. Fashion is about your confidence in what you are wearing, not whether other people think it’s ‘in’ or not. What what feels right for you, or else you are going to feel awkward and out of place.

If you’re going to wear them to school then just make sure it’s appropriate- not too short you have to worry when bending over or so tight there’s VPL. Maybe wear a simple or slouchy top with it.
