You know, like CoedUgly’s tip for clipping a too-large jacket back with a brooch, or wrapping two belts together to create the illusion of a wide belt.

What “tricks” do you employ to make sub-par clothing better?

add accessories or pops of color…layers always work too : ) I dont prefer when I wear just a regular old tank with jeans, but layer another color over it and add in a flashy necklace or scarf, and it looks hot!

I agree with geekbonchic — really just play around with it, pin it, tuck dresses to make cute blouses, roll it up, cut it up, dye it up, twist it up, HAVE FUN :)
