Socks with Sandals

Or visible gym socks with any (non-gym) shoe… Do you guys know it looks bad and just wear it anyways in a kind of “it’s comfortable, so style be damned!” way, or is there some sort of sock-and-sandal gene on the Y chromosome?

i used to lifeguard during the summers in high school, and during training we were taught to look out for people on the beach who wore socks with sandals because they most likely were tourists and didn’t know how to swim in the ocean. yeah.. so not a big fan of socks and sandals…

the first way is the way my dad wears socks and sandals.
I’ll be like “You’re not going out in those…are you?” and he always says. “Yeah…why not?”
