As a general rule, I’d say it’s hard for me to get behind. I wouldn’t wear it most likely. I’ve seen lots of people in real life and on here that I just think the ripped tights look silly with the outfit. But I’m not going to say I hate it. I think with the right outfit, they can add a nice touche, and they have to look like they ripped natural. I’m not really a fan of destroying clothes in a way that doesn’t look like it happened natural (I usually rely on natural distressing to get the distressed look anyway and absolutely refuse to buy clothing that is distressed in any noticeable way)
I actually said this in another post, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be “not practical”. When it gets too cold for my thinner tights, I usually just layer a lighter pair of tights underneath them, and the same can be done in a case like this. You’ll just have one part of your leg that’s a little bit less covered than all the rest.posted almost 6 years ago
