Big yay here! I love maxi dresses, they look super cute on me since i’m almost 5’8.
I only own 3 and they all have wacky prints on them so I don’t really accessorize much. I wear a simple silver necklace with a silver charm and brown gladiators. It’s pretty hard piking a good bag that won’t clash with the colors of my maxis so I choose to not wear a bag and just give my phone and home keys to my boyfriend or friend whenever i’m going somewhere with them.
If i’m alone then i go with a simple brown bag.
This summer i plan to buy a gorgeous orange mullet dress that i plan on wearing with a peacock feather necklace, big orange clutch and a lot of confidence!
posted over 1 year agoDefinite YAY! I love maxi dresses. They are so comfy and can be so versatile. I wear mine with platform heels and depending on my mood or season, with a summery straw hat and big sunglasses, or a blazer or belted chunky sweater. They can be so versatile!
posted over 1 year agoYAY!!! I LOVE THEM There Are lots of prints or just solid colors that compliment my color. i own a really cute dark pink & blue one. For this summur im planning on buying a black one & some with prints. i pair it up with wedges or sandals if im going somewhere less formal. They are soo cute <3
posted over 1 year agoI think you have to have a certain figure to really pull them off (meaning, tall and relatively skinny). I don’t own any, but there is a lovely tie dye one from Joie up for redemption in the reward section that I love… it’s the only one I’ve ever seen that I’ve even considered wearing.
posted over 1 year agoDo you think maxis will be ok to wear this spring/summer? because that style is so noticeable (floor length dress vs. a more subtle trend like metal accents) it’d be even more obvious if worn out of season. I even saw grandmas wearing them last summer, so I don’t want to beat a dead horse with a stick.
but I loove maxis :) just bought another one a few weeks ago, so I can’t wait until it gets wearmer
posted about 1 year agoI really love maxi-dresses! But I’m still looking for the perfect one, does someone knows where to buy one? I checked Zara already..
If I had one i’d combinate it with wedges, a denimjacket or other jacket and very much accessoires! a bit bohemian!

I like them but I am always to short to actually make them work for me :( I wish I was taller !

posted 9 months agoI love maxi dresses. The ones I have are for formal occasions so I wear them with a long coat, a long cape (the one you can see in my avatar), and black heels. Nothing too much. I just focus on my make up and hair, I want to make my whole outfit look vintage and hair always make the difference. Concerning every day, when I go out I love wearing my long sheer skirt or other long skirts I have. I combine the light pink one with a beige knitted top, light pink high heels and a light pink envelope bag. I intend to wear this outfit on Sunday so I’ll take some photos.
