I’m very new into wearing colors, but I love this spring’s color blocking trend! I would just love to know what your favourite color combinations (especially with photo examples!) are :) Or maybe some tips to a newbie in the color-world. I usually wear neutrals, navy, black, white and grey – and I do like to bring in a pop of color, but I want to take it all the way and still feel comfortable.
Thanks!
posted about 2 years agoI like colorblocking as a trend, but I personally don’t. ever since marithe francois girbaud fall 08 I’ve loved soft greys with bright yellows :).
posted about 1 year agopastel pink + light mint, magenta+black, deep blue+white…its not all, I like many combo :)))
posted about 1 year agoI’m loving hot, watermelon pink with pretty much everything right now, especially bright grass green, sunshine yellow or clasic black.
Pastels look fantastic together – think mint green, sky blue, light pink.
Gray + yellow; gray + purple; burgundy + brown; yellow + white – just to name a few more!

don’t let go of your neutrals. I love navy but for spring I might pair it up with it’s complimentary color orange. If you really want to get into spring try corals and brighter colors mixed with neutrals.

Can’t really go wrong with any pastel mix, or neon mix for that matter :)
posted about 1 year agoYou really can’t go wrong with neutrals of course so keep that in mind when combining colors by using your neutrals as a base. Such as wearing neutral pants with colored shirt with a sweater (if needed), or neutral sweater with colored dress. Of course you can add accessories that are colored as well but for me keeping to just a handful of colors work the best. There are people who know how to pull off many colors but to keep it a little safer that’s what I do. :)
Also keep in mind of the complimentary colors and try to stay close to them.
Hopefully this helps!
posted about 1 year agoI’m getting back into B&W again. My friends make fun of me ‘cuz i’m so bland. hahaha.
posted 10 months agoA pop of neon with black or grey always looks good. If you’re worried about wearing such a bright color you could try neon accessories – shoes, bag, belt etc. Other color combinations I think work well are red and turquoise, cobalt and mustard, purple and emerald green.
posted 8 months agoI think this Spring’s color combo is going to be black and white. I am so excited!
posted 2 months agocan’t tell actually… probably black/white and black/red =/
I think those are the colors I’m wearing most of the time
