black and white or colour?

i love wearing black, and it is classic. but color is something that you can really use your imagination with! it is more fun too i think :)

I think color would show style better. But it’s fun to play with light/shadows with black & white.

I think that colour can distract from other features of a design because generally its what we notice first. I think that bright bold colours work best with a simple garments because it can create interest, whereas a very detailed garment might look best in black or white, to focus on the design.

It depends on subject and intended style.

What is the most interesting thing about a subject – the texture, the shape, or the color.

I think black and white photos exude some kind of class. Look at the photos of old hollywood stars like Audrey Hepburn. I saw a color picture of her, and I didn’t get the same sense of style and classiness from it.

I love black and white, but I love colour more.

I think it depends the mood you’re going for. Black and white photos, to me, set a more serious tone. Color photos can be really fun and can take on many emotions. I really like using both although I haven’t done any B/W photography in a long time. :)
