I have a fashion blog and I do quite a lot of writing on it but the most successful blogs have lots of high quality photos. I am looking for a new camera at the moment but all professional cameras seem to be around £1000 and I don’t have that sort of money so does anyone have/know of any good quality cameras that won’t leave me bankrupt??xx

I think you can get quite a lot of pretty good cameras for under £500, to be honest.
If you’re looking for a semi-pro, try Panasonic Lumix LX5 :)

You can get an older model of an entry-level SLR for much cheaper. Try the Canon Rebel XS. I have an xTI. The thing about SLR’s is that good photos come from good lenses, and good lenses cost a lot of money.

If you don’t want to invest in lenses or lug them around, try a bulkier point-and-shoot; I had a Canon S2 IS before I invested in a dSLR, and it was amazing. The newer version is this and it’s only ~200 USD.
