Curious to know what apps for Iphone/Android people use to edit your quick OOTDs, food, and other such things? I only have instagram, color effects, pixlromatic, snapseed. Any other recommendations?
Pic Jointer, and Photoshop Express on my Iphone!

What editing software do you use and what are your editing techniques? How long does it take to edit a photo?
I straighten and crop my photos in iphoto then adjust the exposure and play with filters and curves in photoshop. It takes me about 5 minutes to edit a photo (which starts to add up when I’m editing a lot of them!)
i edit all my photos on photoshop. and editing time depends on the photo and how much i am doing with it. 5-15mins each photo.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to edit photos to give them that “vintage” look that looks similar to the quality of a polaroid picture?
Ainsworth did a photo like this: http://www.chictopia.com/photo/show/411887-Les+Freres+Ainsworth+-+MARIONR-beauty-old-converse-bag-noir-vintage-jacket-belt
Thanks if anyone can help!
If you’re on your iPhone, I recommend using VSCO! It has the most beautiful filters ever.

I am helping my boss choose event photographers and I noticed that the ones with the most fancy equipment aren’t always the best ones. What makes a good event photographer?
I’ve hired a few event photographers in the past and my biggest learning lesson is just reliability and commitment to delivering good images. When interviewing event photographers, it’s good to look at how polished their online portfolio is, and ask for references from past clients. I’ve got a few names in NY and SF if you need some.

Hi All,
I have an online shop selling jewellery (stonethemoon.com) and I have tried and tried to get a completely white background on the product photos and have pretty much failed with every attempt. I photo products in a light tent on a white background which is lit from the outside, with a higher exposure on my camera and the photos still turn out with a grey or coloured tint. I edit them using Gimp and adjust the levels and contrast and colour balance and the background still isnt completely white.
Can anyone help me with this as its driving me mad! How do you get a completely white background on product pics??
Thanks!
Kayte
