Would you ever go to a concert alone? If you ever did what concert was it?

nope, you never know what’s going to happen in those crowds, especially at a high energy rock show :P

I know a few friends who go to concerts alone. Although it could be a good way to meet people, I personally couldn’t do it.

I always meet people at concerts that went alone. I don’t really see anything wrong with it, although personally I would get really bored if I didn’t have someone next to me to talk to occasionally. Mosh pits aren’t really a problem is you don’t push yourself into the front.

I would. I always end up separated from my friends in the moshpit anyway. In fact, if you don’t end up separated, you haven’t done it properly!

I saw the medieval death metal band Therion on my own because none of my friends like the band. It was actually a great show and i had a great time…and i agree with becky bedbug up there, if there’s a pit you’re going to get separated anyway.

I always prefer to go to concerts with people I know, but if I really love the band/artist, and no one else is available to join me, I’ll still go alone.

I like going with friends, but would definitely try going by myself.

I’d go alone. If I love the music I’m not paying attention to the person next to me, anyway ;)

Not all concerts are crowded and rowdy. I know I wouldn’t go to Arcade Fire concert alone because they’re somewhat well-known and they attract a lot of people. It’s nice to have at least one friend around for that environment.

But if it is not a very well-known band with a small venue place in the neighborhood, I would probably go alone to enjoy the music. The last concert I went to, was really spacious— I went to see Suckers last spring (but I didn’t go alone with this one). XD

Seating concerts aren’t bad either: classical, opera, and maybe jazz, perhaps.
