Just want to know your take. Times have changed, my parents got married young- and now people wait. Is 23 now too young?

Yes, it is, unless both parties are precocious.

It depends on the situation. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t.

well I also think it depends on the culture of a place. In a country like India, 23 is considered to be a good time for marriage, but you better do it fast because 25 is starting to go over the hill, and 27-30 is wayy too old. But even there things are changing now and it’s more about how the two people feel about each other, so I guess if it works for you, and makes you feel good, then thats all you need to know

I think it’s annoying that so many people are getting married young. I mean honestly, to each their own but why do you want to rush into it? You’ve only just graduated from high school 5 years ago and your 20’s is the perfect time to explore and open your mind, figure out who you are. That can be quite difficult to do if you decide you want to get married to someone, especially at such a young age. And I certianly don’t think 27-30 is too old!

i may be a bit conservative, but i think anything under 25 is too young.

but i have to say that it really depends. if you’re financially stable at 25 or younger and are content with where you are and feel you are ready for marriage, then by all means. it’s honestly up to the individual. if you’re at 25 and still paying off debts with no job and lack many things, then it’d be best to hold off.

Yes i think 23 is too young for marriage. Wait until you are close to 30.

I think it depends where you live.

I believe that in major cities like Los Angeles, Beijing, etc. people usually marry later whereas in rural areas (i.e., countryside) people tend to marry in their early 20s!

In my country it is a little bit too young. But if you really love someone and you feel that you can spend a lifetime with them, why not? It’s your life, your choices. Just be happy! ^^
