OK so i’m performing arts captain at my school and its a major stress! Basically my theme is Hollywood, and im hoping to lean more towards Old Hollywood glamour, and the Golden Age – marylin monroe ,Audrey Hepburn…But I need some more ideas, and so I was wondering – what do you think of when you think of Hollywood? Any era. I need to do a musical peice, and was thinking Guys and Dolls, but I want people to be able to get the link with Hollywood etc.

Drugs, sex scandals, desperation for fame. LOL sorry I watched E! online’s show that talked about murder cases in Hollywood….it was so sad..

A place where people to go to achieve their dreams/goals. Like you hear of lots of singers, actors etc. moving to hollywood to get famous. Apart from that just all the other previously mentioned stuff.

times have changed… i like the old romanticized ideal of hollywood, and though hollywood is a cool place, it doesn’t wow me… but then again i grew up in southern ca, so maybe it is not as exciting to me as it might be to an outsider…
