In the same boat, although I do have a good camera – just no one to take pictures for me. Tried looking for your blog, but it says that it doesn’t exist. :[
I’d suggest making polyvore sets until you get a better camera – it’s quick and gets a post up (and it’s super fun!)

Welcome! As for someone to take pics…you can get a bendy tripod (they are called Gorillpods on Amazon) that will bend around and hang your camera off anything in addition to acting like a normal small tripod.
