I’m so frustrated…non of my last 3 uploaded pictures made it to the style gallery. They received aprox. 10 votes each, they disappeared from the new photos gallery after aprox. 12 hours, I got the 5 points corresponding to a photo that qualifies in the style gallery, but the picture didn’t appeared there.
Please girls, if you have any idea what I did wrong or who I can contact leave me a comment. I still want to mention that the quality and the lighting of 2 of the photos is very good.
The pictures I’m talking about are: new acquisitions, feeling like a princess and lots of necklaces
this is because many new photos are being added to the gallery. your photo did not dissappear. It’s just like page 3792568756 (exaggeration)
Search your username, that should do it.

i personally think that the editor of chictopia is too critical. i just searched your username, and your right, those 3 photos didnt make it in. you’re not the only one, i actually was one of the winners of the true religion denim contest, and my winning photo wasnt even entered into the style gallery until page 12. which doesnt make since that a winning photo wouldnt even make the cut?
i dont think youre doing anything wrong. i guess just try to have the best quality of photo possible? just know you’re not the only one frustrated by this.

Hi Laura and Paulinabelle,
I have the same problem. No matter how many votes I got, and no matter how good the quality of my pictures are (at least in my opinion), very few of my pictures make it to the style gallery.
It is kinda frustrating because you’re trying your best and all, you got all the votes you need, but when you search the style gallery, your picture is not there!
But I am still enjoying comments from my fellow chictopians. I guess that’s a great consolation. =)

My first photo got 12 votes and it’s a professional photograph so I don’t know how that could have meant it didn’t make it.
What’s the actual criteria for the style gallery?
posted over 3 years agoThis is what CheriChictopia says you should do in order to have your photo posted in the style gallery
1. Take high resolution, in-focus photos – 2MB+ is ideal for upload.
2. Show your beautiful hair and awesome shoes in the photo. A complete outfit makes a strong statement!
3. Label your photos so others can find out where you found these fabulous pieces.
4. Pair your photo with some witty comments or an interesting story. After all, it’s your point of view that makes you interesting!
I did all that but some of my photos didn’t made it to the style gallery. Hope my next will :)
