Last year I lost about 40+lbs going to the gym regularly doing group exercise classes, but we all know routines get boring. What’s your favorite or most effective workout?

I really enjoy calm and relaxing exercises that focus more on control, balance, and toning. My favorite is yoga, because of all the options of poses, how I can design a custom workout for me, and how I can pretty much do it any time and anywhere. I also took a t’ai chi class last year, and it was fun, relaxing, and helped me build balance, coordination, and control.

Hello,

I am doing yoga and yoga is my favorite workout. Yoga not only promotes strength and flexibility in growing bodies; it also cultivates a sense of balance and respect for the world around oneself. Put simply, yoga improves behavioral issues as well as overall health.

Thanks,
[kids yoga teacher training toronto]

I like walking the best, but I just discovered the elliptical machine and love that I can get such a killer workout from one machine!

i love pilates, i think it’s the best way to have lean and toned muscles, you can feel the difference after only one workout and it also makes you relaxed and energetic

I like to mix up my workout routine as I get bored easily. I do a combination of yoga, pilates, light weight training, jogging, walking, hula hooping and aerobics.

I’ve become addicted to hot yoga lately, and I can already tell I’m getting more flexible, my mood is more positive, and my muscles are sore (but in a good way!)

I like different types of exercises and working with a trainer or working without a trainer makes a large difference. You should also remember that the gym you want to join is willing to obtain you the goal setting session before going on to the equipments.

Thanks,

I like to mix different exercises and work out every two days :) Last year I attended pilates and I very liked it! But this year I don’t have enough time for this.

First off congratulations. It’s hard sticking with a routine and being motivated. I think you have to find what is most fun for you and then you will be most successful. For me it’s tennis. It’s fun and I don’t feel like I’m working out. I also used to take Zumba classes and those were fun and kicked my ass.

Swimming is my favorite form of work out. It’s low impact so the chances of injuring myself is pretty slim.
