the problem would be the caffeine. try drinking teas that are naturally caffeine-free, or low in caffeine—like herbal or white teas. rooibos is my tea of choice.
posted 10 months agoLike TightsandTea said, the problem is probably because it contains caffeine. In my experience, though, I’ve known people to react to green tea in different ways. My boss had switched to green tea instead of coffee, because it has less caffeine, but it gave her heart palpitations! So it’s possible that it might be specifically the green tea that’s effecting you. In my opinion, I would just stay clear of anything with caffeine or too much sugar, which can also make it hard to sleep.
