After living most of my life with waist-length hair, I decided recently that I’d like a change in hairstyle— specifically a somewhere-between-a-bob-to-a-pixie cut. only thing is I have a really round face, and I’m worried that a short hairstyle will only make it look rounder. Any ideas? Pictures of styles would be great. Thanks!

In my opinion you must continue with long hairs. As you have mentioned your hair quality and your facecuts long hair will be a better option for you.

I think a bob could work for you, all i would say though is avoid getting a fringe because i think that will really emphasise your face shape.

You can try a layered hair style just not too short for it will make your face look rounder. Mine is round too and I’m maintaining a medium-length hair. I curled it too and it works for me :)

How much should you tip your hairdresser for a short cut and blowdry? I usually tip 20% like I would at a restaurant. Is that too much?

I almost agree with you that not every short hairstyle is good for round face, but there are some which could make you look simply cute and pixie cut is one of them... So try it out and don't forget to share your pics, once finished!

I have a roundish sort of face and my lovely haircut it's bob, sometimes asymmetrical   It is advised to avoid really short hair but I have had extremely short hair and it looked ok . Just a matter of experimentation.
I think Michelle Williams has a similar face and I think her hair looks really lovely and flatters her face wonderfully. Her hair looks like it has a bit of a wave to it as well. It doesn't look like it would be too high maintenance either.

Hi. I personally feel you should have short hair. Also, comb your hair close to the head. I too love making different hairstyles. My friend suggested me about an online store where I can find variety of cheap hair wigs that will suit my face. I am planning to order Human Hair Blend Wigs as it is a popular choice among many women.

I disagree that short hair doesn't suit those with a round face.

But you do need to choose a great cut and someone who can execute it to your liking. I had cut my hair short a few years before my now cut - and it was a disaster because I walked into a hairdresser and said "I need a change, do what you want".

Then I saw a hairstylezz I loved on another larger girl - and she wore it so well, it gave me the courage to try.

I love that I can get out of the shower and take less than 5 mins with a small amount of wax and my hair is done. I feel put together.
