I go bra-less when I go to sleep because my mom tells me it’s unhealthy. But, if I’m really tired then I just leave it on :P
posted 3 months agoI have never heard of anyone sleeping with a bra on… To me it sounds pretty stupid and pointless. I usually don’t even wear one during the day, just those tank tops with the built in one.
posted 3 months agoI used to not know you were supposed to. I thought it was weird! lol but you have to take it off! Let em breathe!!
posted 3 months agoit’s uncomfortable for me to sleep with a wired bra—the few times I did, the wire part dug into my skin. I can’t imagine why it would be unhealthy, but I can’t imagine it being very comfortable either.
I don’t think I have any wireless bras though, I’m sure they’d be comfortable to sleep in :)
I’m a 36D and I would find it horrible if I tried to sleep with my bra on…I have a friend who always wore hers to bed, and she would often complain about the pain the wire and amount of sweat wearing a bra to bed caused :(

I never wear one to bed, I find it hard to sleep with one. I usually don’t wear one while I’m home. I don’t see a point in it. Nothing wrong with being natural.
posted 3 months agoI used to wear it in bed, always. It felt so weird not wearing it at night, like very naked. But then I learnt that most girls take it off at night, and that’s when I thought I should take it off as well, because that’s apparently what’s considered ‘normal’, haha. I just didn’t wanted to be the weird one.
Nowadays I’m used to not wearing it.

I’ll avoid wearing a bra as much as I can .. so no, none while sleeping. Actually, I get the best sleep wearing nothing at all :D
posted 3 months agoRegular bras tend to get very uncomfortable during the night, as the wires poke at you when you toss and turn..so none for me. Actually, (WARNING: the following sentence includes too much info)I only wear a bra when I go out in public. But I can see that not working for bustier girls.
And yes there are some studies which suggest using a bra on a regular basis can disturb the elasticity of the breast tissue (aka cause premature sagging). And ofc wearing the long size can cause damage on long periods of time.
All my gf’s with big boobs, they swear by a control top at night, or even a tank with that supportive band on the boobs. And it looks good too.
posted 3 months agoI never sleep in a bra. my big sister said something about breast cancer rates (WHICH YOU SHOULD VERIFY) going up for girls that never take theirs off.
posted 3 months agoI sleep with mine and I find it normal. I think it’s up to everyone to choose how they feel most comfortable with :)

I never sleep with a bra on, theres no point and if you have underwiring it’s is apparently bad for you to keep it on at night.

I sleep with no bra on.
My mom is an oncology nurse, and she tells me that apparently having a bra on for so long, with the underwire, can be a cause of breast cancer.
