lipstick vs. lip stain

I prefer lip stain. Typically when I wear lipstick my lips look dry, and they definitely feel it! However, lip stain has no adverse feeling, and I can put lip balm over it with no issues. Also, lip stain usually lasts way longer, and lipstick wears off pretty quickly.

i like lipsticks for formal occasions and i love pulling out a tube of ysl’s lipstick whenever i have to go to the powder room (the packaging is gorgeous!) but lip stains are definitely more practical for everyday usage. my favourite lip combo for the fall is benefit’s benetint and nar’s ophelia lipgloss

I have never tried a lip stain but my sister does because she smokes and hates the way her lips look now but she actually said she doesn’t like them. I will try once I find the right color.

Lip stain. It’s a touch of color without being too much.

I like to layer the two products. I put my lipstick over my stain so I have color on my lips for a longer period of time.

Every day, I wear lipstick..but i didn’t realize lip stain was such a good product. you ladies make me think i should try it out.

I prefer a lipstain. lipsticks are so high maintence during the day it seems like lipstains are easier for me to maintain.

I like lip stain! :) Its great because it stays longer and gives your lips that shine. Also, my lip stain is strawberry flavoured, so most of the time, I end up licking it from my lips! :P

I prefer lip gloss or chapstick

Lip stain with a moisturizer over it. I hate how often you have to reapply lipstick.

I like lip stain- I always find it looks more natural… lasts longer for me too.

Stain. Yes, more natural and the lipsticks always tend to be dry on my lips – no matter the brand or if they claim to be moist.

I prefer lipstains. Much easier to maintain and seems to stay on longer.

What lip stains do you guys use? I’ve been wanting to try one for awhile now but don’t know what brand(s) would be worth the money.
