You could try highlights and color your hair as close as your own color as possible, so it won’t be so nasty to grow out. I had mine done by a pro hairdresser through 4 sessions, from black to ashy blonde. Now I can start growing my own color…posted over 1 year ago

When I grew out my blonde highlights, I had to go in to get it dyed professionally. My hairdresser just matched my natural/base hair color JUST on the hair where the highlights were, and I got the coloring re-done every few months since the blonde would come through due to washing & drying.. and after about ten months I was finally back to my all-natural hair for the first time in years.posted over 1 year ago
