Red lips or Nude lips?

I prefer nude. I like more natural colors.

If I’m not wearing any kind of bold clothing then red lips are a must. If my outfit is pretty out there and flamboyant, I like to tone down the colour of my lips.

red, always! But I think because my eyebrows and eyes are so light, I can do smokey eyes and red lips and get away without looking overdone.

I tend to lean more towards red since it brightens my face. I like nude too, but only when I’m wearing heavy eye makeup. Nude lips on fresh face sometimes make you look washed out.

Since I really love colorful lipstick, I do prefer red lips before nude. It’s a really good way to look a little bit fresher and colorful.

I think everyone should try out both looks. They’re both so classic and each has it’s own place in the make-up bag of life.

As with many other of these replies, I’m a both kind of girl.
I ADOOOOORE lipstick. Some people love their blushes, some love their mascara, I love my lippy.
I’m pretty willing to wear red with almost everything. When it comes to wanting to tone it down a bit, I’ll put on some of my True Blood by Tarte red lip tint, since it’s much more sheer than traditional lipstick. But otherwise it’s all out red.
If I am wearing a made-up eye, then for sure nude. And sometimes I just use nude if I feel my lips are getting dry throughout the day and I don’t have lip balm with me. And I don’t have to worry about touching it up either. :)
