Yes, so every girl has to maintain the awful pain when mother nature calls.
Well, I found out this remedy and it REALLY works everytime for me! It only takes about 35 minutes and after that, the pain gradually dissapears. I am ready to work happily again!
I’ll put it in steps for you to make it easier to memorise.
It goes like this:

1. Boil a cup of water and add some salt into it
2. Take a hot water bottle (filled with boiled water)
3. Take in one pain killer pill
4. Go to your bed and lie down (listen to some music if you wish)
5. Gradually drink the hot salty water while the hot water bottle is on your belly

IT REALLY WORKED FOR ME AND I HOPE IT DOES FOR YOU.
Try it out when mother nature calls and give me feedback on how it went.

What are your home remedies or what do you do to relieve the pains?

Thanks for this! Next period, I’ll definitely try it. I thought you were supposed to avoid extra salt on your period, but I’m willing to try just about anything— especially if you say it works really well for you!

Do you get particularly bad cramps? I usually can’t go to work or school the first day, and it’s not uncommon for me to vomit from the pain. Usually I take painkillers (for a while I actually had a prescription painkiller from my doctor, but when I came to Japan I couldn’t bring it with me, so now I just use OTC stuff /-:), use a heating pad, and drink decaffeinated teas like chamomile and ginger tea. Then I try to sleep through it, mostly.

I know but it actually helped! I was sooo relieved after the pain went and I was just feeling happy again :)

Aww, if it’s really bad you will need to have a go at it. I have really bad cramps but I manage to go to school.
Make a note of it so you won’t forget. Hey, don’t take too many pain killer pills, your immune system might get used to it and it will gradually become less effective.

Banana helps,
Hot water bottles are very effective,
Sleeping helps alot,
but through it try my remedy and see how it goes =]

Hope your well xx

this sounds good thanks!
Usually I take painkillers when I wake up before I get any cramps, and usually I won’t get any for the day if I do that.

Exercise also helps.
As do Advil and spicy foods, which have a pain-releasing endocrine.

@ Cem
When mother nature calls, the last thing you’ll be able to/want to do is excersise.
Atleast for me :P

i used to have the WORSE cramps & i would have to miss school for like 1 or 2 days because its just too painful to move & painkillers dont help me at all but i started taking birth control pills last year & it has helped me a lot!

around that time of the month, it doesnt hurt at all & it only last for 3 days! :) though you would have to go check with your doctor about it first.

I have pcos and get horrendous cramps and sometimes pass out and the best thing for me is gentle exercise – really. I also avoid salt for the whole of my period and at least 3 days before otherwise it’s worse.

i am expecting mother nature to pay me a visit this coming
week so i will definately be trying this! i’ll let you know how it goes for me.
i usually get bad cramps only on the first day, but it feels horrible.
muscle relaxers work as well, but they make me sleepy and i hhhhate
sleeping! i’d much rather be up. so if i can lay down for a while and
drink the salt water for a while it’ll eliminate my having to stay in bed all day.
