Is there some kind of product i can use when i want to fix "chicken feather" "fly-away" hair when i am not around a hot iron, don't want to wet it, and don't want to pin it?

This would be a question for your hairstylist. I cannot answer real accurate with not having any idea the texture of your hair but if you do go with a shine serum, get one that is a good brand like Redken. Good products do cost more but they are worth it. It is not just your stylist trying to sell overpriced stuff, you do get what you pay for. Good products last longer so in the long run, they are not more expensive.

If you’re looking to control fly aways, you can try just a small dab of Moroccan Oil. It replenishes the moisture in your hair and if you don’t use a lot, it won’t weight your hair down or make it greasy. Also, protecting your hair with a conditioning mist that contains silicone in it, will add some weight to your hair so you don’t get the fly aways. hope that helps!
