Facial powder: yay or nay?

Personally, I have really oily skin so I am always trying to get as matte as possible! I think there’s nothing wrong with a matte face as long as it’s not cakey like you said.

I think most people prefer natural looking makeup, and matte doesn’t really look natural outdoors in the sunlight. I wear powder only because I’m oily as well, but I’d rather have dewy skin without any powder. I only use it on my t-zone, and the barest bit, so you can’t really tell I’ve got it on (I hope!).

I love it. I have combination skin so I dust it over my t-zone and put blush on my cheeks and in a couple hours the oil makes it look perfectly dewy and fresh, then I just blot the excess oil when needed. Do whatever makes you feel pretty though. I like matte faces and I’m sure lots of other people do too so you’re not alone.

You shouldn’t let others dictate how you do your make up.
Matte looks ten times better than an oily face. Not a lot of people have naturally smooth faces, so that’s why translucent powder exists.

I don’t use it but a little along the way wouldn’t hurt anybody

I prefer having a matte face over an oily face, so hooray for face powder !
