I think fashion has taken a turn in the no rules direction.
Black and brown work great together, my favourite pairing is: black skinnies with knee high taupe boots :)

i think it was the biggest fashion myth of the 90s..at least that is when i heard it while growing up that these 2 colours worn together is a fashion sin..i quite like the combo.
