I really want to try a nude lipstick, especially a gloss. So far i’ve experimented and its turned out looking almost ashy, thats why im especially gravitating towards a nude glossy look. I just dont know where to start. Any brand and color suggestions? Tutorials even? Im dying to accomplish this look.

No real brand suggestion here, since it is a matter of taste.
But for a shade, i do have suggestions!
+glass
+sheer blush pink tones
+depending on skin tone you could pull of a more of a sunset colour as well! looks amazing on darker skin tones! keeping it light and simple without lipliner this is a very natural, but not bare look.
+lip stains are big this season again
-“vinyl” gloss
-brown and nude shades
-glitter(silver tones)
Ok I had the same problem and a few products that i ended up liking were:
MAC lipstick in Jubilee is a lustre so it gives the same type of sheen as gloss
Mac Lipstick in Creme Cup very pretty nudey pink for brown skin tones.
ELF lipgloss in candlelight or iced mocha
NYC lipgloss in cappuccino
NYX lipstick in Echo or cocoa (both are matte so just add a clear gloss over)
