WHAT?

yea it’s been raining like crazy here (mission viejo)
for the past couple days.
because come on noww
everyone knows southern california doesn’t have real seasons
O:
it’s finally winter and i’m just beginning
to notice all the leaves change colors

anyways
today around 1-2 pm
there was a tornado warning
over my school’s intercom O:

& when my class was over there were
jumbo puddles
the size of my bedroom
anddd some people also saw hail?

yeaa

i could get used to this rainy weather. (:

~
except i can’t find rainboots ANYWHERE
D:
and i can’t order online because by the time it arrives in the mail the rain will be gone. BOOOO!

so how can i survive through the rain in converse? eh?

~
but still
i LOVE
the sound of the rain
i find it very soothing

Tornadoes right!!? crazy.

i live in san diego, its nice to find someone who is going through what im going. The wind is still crazy fast, and its so weird since things like this rarely happen over here.

what i would do is go to either walmart/target and find a simple pair of rainboots. solid color, preferrably white or black. if white, i would buy permanent markers and design the hell out of them… they wont wash out, trust me…
if black, i would hot glue studs or other metal-ish things.. that would make them chic.

I live in Cali too. No tornado warnings here in Bakersfield. I’m not a fan of wind and rain =[ It was raining like crazy after my Econ class yesterday; today when I was driving to school, my car felt a little shaky because of the strong winds.

Have you tried Target? My mom got some really cute rain boots there. I’m actually wearing them right now =P I got a lot of compliments on them at school.

hmm.
on friday around 2 pm
it was raining really heavy
& there was hail. D:

my hair completely drenched
wasn’t an exciting school day.

~
oh and for future reference
UGGS are the worst shoes to wear when it’s raining
they just soak up everything like sponges. XD
i saw several girls wear there uggs today
and they all got completely RUINED
there was no possible way to avoid the rain today
unless you stayed inside the whole time O_o

converse fail in the rain! bring extra socks.
i know this because they’re my only everyday shoes. but i still wear them anyway. it also doesnt help that mine are ripping at the back near the sole, which acts like a special entrance for puddle water.

i wonder if spraying them with waterproofing stuff for boots would do anything. hmm

I actually love rain! Though it was so weird to see so much here! I go to school in New England and its pretty common to have weather like that so I was prepared!
It was absolutely crazy—thunder, lightning, hail, and a heavy downpour of rain for almost a straight 5 days!
