I love this show, too. I’m especially glad that I am Vegetarian after watching the episode about how chicken nuggets are made.
posted about 3 years agoIt’s on ABC on Friday night. Though I’m not sure if it will be on this week.
I watched both episodes of it last week and I really like it! But it makes me so mad that people are almost against getting better food! The lunch ladies seemed sooo against it. And I can’t believe those kids still wanted to eat those chick nugget things after they saw how it was made. YUCK.
posted about 3 years agoI like it. Makes me happy I never had the school food more than 2 or 3 times a month lol My parents couldn’t afford to pay for school lunch for 3 kids everyday… it was more expensive because it was a private school. You would think that means it would be better, which it was a little bit, but we still had tacos, hot dogs, burgers, pizza… it just wasn’t as processed, but still bad lol
posted about 3 years agoIt’s the best, I loved Jamie Oliver before this and now I get to see him all the time. It’s awful what we’re feeding kids in school, and at home most of them are being fed the same way. It’s no wonder childhood obesity is such a problem.
posted about 3 years agolove that show! nutrition and food are my life! Im a Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences student.
its really sad tho to see those people being hurt by food.. most of them want to change but they dont know how.

posted about 3 years agoI saw a clip of the show on The Dish on the Style network, and Jamie was holding up tomatoes in front of a classroom full of little kids and asked them what it was. And they couldn’t answer! I was appalled! I KNOW they’ve eaten pizza or spaghetti, so I couldn’t understand how they didn’t know what tomatoes looked like! Do their parents COMPLETELY BYPASS the ENTIRE produce section at the grocery store?
posted about 3 years agoi know!! to me, if youre kid doesnt know what a freaking tomato is, you’ve definetly failed at parenting
