I’m a poetry fan myself. I prefer 19th century syle of the romantic period. Also I love the transitional period between Realism and Modern. European poets catch my ear more than American ones. Baudelaire, André Breton, Jesenjin, Ujevic, Rimbaud, Mallarme, and my personal favourite, Federico García Lorca
I truly love poetry, it is the only way of expression that really reaches to me.
I love Plath as well:):)
Charles Bukowski is my all time favourite. ‘The Big Fire’ is my favourite poem of his.posted almost 6 years ago
I love surrealism, dadaism and poetism (which is a Czech poetry trend resembling dadaism, only making more sense :)), which means Breton and company. I also love Apollinaire, Paul Eluard, Desmond Egan, Seamus Heaney, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, a couple of Czech poets you won’t know :) and my all-time favourite is William Shakespeare and his Sonnets. I’ve got a pocket edition of them and carry it in my handbag most of the time :)posted almost 6 years ago
