I’m thinking of training for a marathon, and I’ve been running 5-6 days a week for the past 3 weeks. I’ve read around that it’s better to take days off. What’s the best way to go about it, with regards to muscles development and expedition of training? Thanks!

posted about 1 year agoEveryday is ideal, but start off running once a week, then every other day, then you can do everyday, so you can condition your body. :)

posted about 1 year ago5-6 days sounds great. Your body needs at least a day off to recuperate, because the muscles get stressed, and make sure you’re getting at least 8 hours of sleep because with so much running, your body needs it.
