Maxi Skirts I’m not sure, that’s too feminine to me but a nice skirt? In a “manly” material like leather. Why not if they can pull it off :-) I did a post about this forever ago (http://bit.ly/11RLE7i) but I really want this look to catch on lol it’s interesting

@KimberlyLove_
most men don’t have the legs for shorter skirts, haha, so they can only wear a maxi skirt that is not very flare and is black or other dark color. Think about a priest’s outfit: it’s a long, black dress, even if they call it something else ;)

i love it when anyone fucks with the boundaries of fashion, whenever i see a guy in a skirt irl rather than in the context of a fashion blog i get the urge to tell them how cool they are, i never do thoughh..

I think a maxi skirt is far too feminine for a man to wear. That’s just my opinion.

It would pretty much be like a man wearing a sarong, which is a unisex garment worn by both men and women in some Southeast Asian and Polynesian countries.

If my boyfriend wants to rock the skirt, I’ll stand by him— I have no problem with it.

I’d love it if my boyfriend would wear one one day! Don’t think that’ll happen though, he’s not really that much into fashion.

Do whatever you want! Wear whatever you want! Be free! And if anyone tells you not to wear what you want to wear, tell them they’re expectations have been constructed by toxic social institutions.

To feel openness and unbiasedness makes me happy. Wearing skirts as a man (unfortunately still) requires a greater amount of tolerance, bravery and just unbiasedness. Not only be like this, spread this spirit with your appearance. You will se, possible abashment as well as reservation simply dissolve by doing so! Don't ask your girlfriend and other people, let them mirror your charisma and charm instead!

Even my girlfriend does everything to support my skirt ambitions. I like both of us being together on a stroll through the city with her wearing a long skirt or elegant pants and me wearing a long skirt.

"maxi skirt is too feminine for a man to wear !"

I don't understand the term "FEMININE".

A Maxi skirt to me is a very room, very cool and carefree, and most importantly absolutely, unconditionally, garrenteeably, full fledge comfort with loads of freedom of movement. And I prefer thinner (not sheer), lighter, fluid fabrics as those are far more cooler to wear, offer more freedom of movement, and flow better when there is aire movement. I like silk for it's cloud soft and silky feel. But more so with woven rayon and some rayon jersey knits. I also like some woven polyester textiles too.

If I wear heavy stiff fabrics, it will be jeans ONLY.

Maxi skirt for me are leasure loungewear. Whether going for long casual walks or just lounging around in the house. I especially like maxi skirts when it's a windy day. It's a magic sensation to wear a maxi skirt in the wind. To feel the wind tug and pull on the fabric. And some fabrics can be quite noisy in blustery windy conditions. And they are a heck allot cooler in the wind too.

What I am sick & tired of is women can wear whatever they want - including mens clothes and that's just OK. But men wanting to wear long skirts for comfort and freedom of movement - OMG!!! The world is coming to an end!! We can't have that!! That's forbidden teritory.

I like them more for comfort and less on how rediculous I look in them.
