I think it’s terrible. It’s so rude and disrespectful. There’s no need for it.
posted over 5 years agoYou can try the game where everyone puts their phones in the middle of the table, faced down. Whoever is first to grab their phone during dinner has to pay for dinner. ;)
posted over 5 years agoIn my experience it depends on the context. If the dinner is personal in nature, leave your cell phone off; if it is a business dinner, there is more flexibility.
posted over 5 years agoIt depends on who I’m with, with my friends we have our phones out all the time. With strangers or older people I tend not to take it out.
