I’m not quite sure if this is the right place to post this, but i at least can give it a try.
Are there more burlesque lovers here? I adore the scene, love the clothing and performances.
How do you fulfill your burlesque needs? I go to performances, workshops and events (25th of september im going to a workshop + event again).
Where I live, the netherlands, the (neo)burlesque scene is just beginning to bloom/grow, so you really have to search for dates/agenda/events/etc.
In countries like USA and UK it’s a bigger scene and i can only hope burlesque will grow as big as in USA.
i love the models and the outfits, so beautiful. I don’t know of anywhere in the UK near me that does anything though
posted over 7 years agoOh! A lot of great burlesque stars come from the UK!
Think of Immodesty Blaize (search on youtube for Burlesque Undressed)
And do you live near London? http://burlesqueking.com/current-shows/
edit: how could i forget! At least you have got the MoB! Ministry of Burlesque ;)

One of their pupils gave a workshop in Amsterdam a while ago, Gyspy Charms, and it was hilarious and fun.
posted over 7 years agothere is a good amount of it and a handful of troupes in canada local to toronto, i’m not quite sure anymore but i heard there is even more of a good following in montreal.
a friend of mine is part of a burlesque troupe and i go to their shows occaisionally.
i’m way to shy to think of doing it myself, but i think it is great otherwise.

My best friend and I are planning on taking a burlesque class sometime soon. I’m hoping it will be a lot of fun.
posted over 7 years agoI’ve never gone to a show but I definitely would. We have them here I guess I just need to make the time.
