You seem young and intelligent so here we go: anything from Francesca Lia Block, Alice Walker (anything she write is GOLDEN), Dig in after reading for awhile to some James Joyce, I think Joy Luck Club is a great suggestion, Somerset Maughm, (i think theres a couple of spelling errors in my suggestions) Tennessee Williams…………Nuff said? that should busy up your summer

okay… heres my little list.
cultures/ activism: A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah, or The Flying Carpet of Small Miracles by Hala Jaber.
classic books: Alices Adventures in Wonderland & Through The Looking Glass by Lewis Carrol, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, or Vanity Fair (can’t remember the author and too lazy to look it up, sorry).
Light-hearted easy reads: the Shopaholic book series by Sophie Kinsella, Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella, etc.
